User Summary

I wrote this program in the 1980s for my CoCo. Tom Mix Software added it to their line of games. I think I made about $3 in sales. It was sold on a 5.25" diskette in a sealed plastic bag. Today it is still possible to play this game on a Java CoCo emulator at www.haplessgenius.com/mocha/ See the web links section.

Several bells and whistles are included: choose computer playing strength, play another human or play the computer, takeback and step forward, rotate the image of the board, AND best of all, a "Faircube" option to mitigate the advantage of the first move. To play this variant, make the first move in any cell other than the eight cube corners or the eight central cells. Or, if the computer moves first, press F and it will avoid those cells on its first move. This reduces but does not eliminate the first player advantage. It may make the game more interesting.
