The game is played on a map of France, with each player represented by a hot air balloon token. The goal of the game is for the player to visit all 19 regions on the map.
On a player’s turn, they draw a card into their hand. If the player has 3 cards in their hand depicting 3 adjacent regions on the map, with at least one region adjacent to the current location of their balloon, then the player can play these cards, claiming each region with a trip-marker. The player then draws 2 cards, and play passes to the next player. If a player does not have 3 cards in their hand depicting 3 adjacent regions, then they discard a card from their hand, and play passes to the next player.
The first player to have a trip-marker on each region of the map wins.
