You have stumbled into the world of FROM ROOKHAVEN WITH LOVE, the role playing game so simple and portable, it fits on a few of postcards. By quickly reading the rules, you and your friends should be on your way to adventure in no time at all... whether you're on an adventure yourself or not.
The Game:
FROM ROOKHAVEN WITH LOVE is a role playing game, or RPG, for three or more players. As with most traditional RPGs, the game provides you and your friends with the basic rules and themes, but it's up to your imagination to play out what happens.
The World:
FROM ROOKHAVEN WITH LOVE is set in a traditional medieval fantasy world. The game takes place is in the region of Rookhaven, a land that contains the worst parts of its namesake.
In Rookhaven, you are certainly behind enemy lines. It is a land of brigands, monsters, and dark magic. Anything that was driven out of the rest of the world was pushed behind the curtain of Rookhaven. You are not welcome wherever you go, and danger and harm await you at every turn. It is not the most pleasant land for the average traveler.
However, you and your party are not the average traveler, so go and make stories to write home about.
