—description from the rulebook

Gain Less is a roll-and-move game, with a number of "betting" spaces for players to spend money at. There is always a chance of winning more money back than you have spent, but the game is designed so that you lose money more often than win, similar to the odds found at casinos and other gambling houses. Gain Less is an educational game, used to demonstrate to young teenagers and adults that when you gamble, ultimately you lose more money than you win.
