Gardens of Babylon: Deluxe Edition comes with content not found in the retail edition - 48 upgraded custom meeples, 144 upgraded custom seed tokens, 1 collectible coin, and The Assyrain expansion (1 black saboteur meeple, 1 black six sided die, and 36 poison tokens).
Adding a new element to the game, the Assyrian is an agent from a rival empire to the North. Seeking to undermine the glorious jewel of Babylon, he works against all guilds to weaken the wonder of the ancient world. At the end of each turn, a player may have the chance to move this lone agent. Travelling around the Garden the Assyrian may be used to poison ponds - destroying seeds currently planted there and rendering the ponds unplantable for the rest of the game!
The Assyrian can also be added to the solo mode with just a few extra rules.
