In the final instalment of the Gargoyle Trilogy, the gargoyles bombard the retreating elves with rocks. The elves attempt to shoot down the beasts with their bows. As the gargoyles are dispatched, some may drop coins, potions, and other treasures which aid the elves in their fight.
Between each stage, improvements to the elven weaponry or defenses may be purchased. Boss fights end the levels as well, adding to the challenge.
