Content Warning:

The following adventure contains violent descriptions which may need to be adjusted for some campaigns. The story also explores cult behavior that may not be suitable for all campaigns. While the adventure does not intend to implicate or imply fault in real world religion, it does explore how it might be subverted, GMs should review the content, and their Lines and Veils regarding these topics.

Misery Tourism:

Krotz Springs is a real town in Louisiana that has been fictionalized for this story. Much of the history of Krotz Springs has been taken from the actual location. As with other real world locations used in various publications, this was done to allow groups to dig deeper or mix in other resources such as maps or local businesses. However, due to the nature of the story, this may feel like a form of misery tourism. GMs should feel free to adjust the names accordingly to avoid any implied connotations.
