Ochalea is a large island, located south of the Known World and
west of the Pearl Islands. While its coastal areas are mostly plains, allowing a considerable agricultural development, the interior is mostly composed of rocky badlands, short mountain chains, and deep forests and jungles. Most of the Ochalean population lives either in the coastal plains or along the Chungkiang, a wide, slow-flowing river that cuts the islands in twain.
