Description

Despite the explicit intention of the designer to invent a completely new, innovative game, it's based on chess. But considering he invented the game in the 30s of the last century, it’s an impressive and complex idea.
Before the actual playing starts, the board is assembled according to 3 dice. The 64 tiles form an 8 x 8 board showing sometimes a different landscape like wood, lakes and hills. There will be a river and a road. On each end of the road, there will be the own city of each player on his base line (the closest tiles).
Each player has 8 (+2 for the advanced version) pawns. They have different moving patterns that are restricted by the actual landscape.
Once during play, a player is entitled to a double move. The first player who conquers the city of his opponent or captures his "Stander" (like the king in chess) wins the game.
