Strategy card-laying game where players send their small blob army through a high-tech genetics lab, gathering mutations and slowly evolving into higher forms of life. Mutants race through the lab and battle opponents on the way to the Cloning Center!
In Genetix, players take turns laying unique multipurpose 'tile cards' to create a growing labyrinth of electric fences, energy barriers, acid pools and steel walls. In doing so, they also activate mutation abilities with which the creatures can exploit in battle.
Special helixes evolve the blobs into higher life-forms with very different mods of behavior.
As the mutants race through the lab and do battle, the first to reach the Cloning Center wins the round and his/her species gets to increases its ranks!
Genetix is played in multiple rounds (three suggested). After the final round, the player controlling the greatest number of mutants wins!
