A player turns over the hourglass and reads the questions on the card. You must answer as many questions as you can before the hourglass is empty. You can move your game piece 1 step per correct answer, in straight lines (up, down, right, left), not diagonally. Two players can not stand in the same square.
To get into another player's dimension (part of the game board), you must be in a square adjacent to their dimension and answer a question correctly. The winner is the player who first enters another player's dimension.
