Germany's Tank Attack: 1918

This game takes place during the Second Battle of Villers-Bretonneux in late April 1918. This was notable for being the first tank-vs.-tank battle ever fought.

The game map covers the central portion of this operation at a scale of 180 yards per hex. Units are infantry platoons and individual tanks. Turns are 90 minutes.

A contemporary reviewer noted some issues with the game, e.g. the fact that there is only one night turn after the 12 day turns so it is impossible to reproduce the actual events (in which Australian troops counterattacked at night).
