From the introduction:

The summer has arrived and a foul feeling is in the air. Your path now takes you to the lochs of Scotland and into the presence of royalty. The tools of evil seem to always be a step in front of you as the summer heats up. Will you be able to prevent a death, or will you once again be called on to solve a murder?

This adventure is the sequel to A Matter of Faith and is part three in the European Turmoil series. It is not necessary to play these events in order, but it is recommended.

A Living Death adventure for heroes of all levels. However, tables of all 1st level heroes have a high probability of failure and death.

The Living Death Campaign uses a d20 version of the Masque of the Red Death.
