From publisher blurb:
If you know me and follow my work and the games I run, you're probably aware that I'm both an OSR guy and someone who finds value in newfangled "story-gaming" innovations. I'm not merely content to just play AD&D rules as written. That's probably why I'm a designer, too, not just a gamer.
Gilded Die of Satanis was inspired by Critical Role's Candela Obscura, but like most things that catch my interest, I take them into the shadows, warp them to my insidious will, and unleash them upon the world.
Gilded Die of Satanis was specifically made for Advanced Crimson Dragon Slayer and Cha'alt. However, if you play D20 type games and occasionally wish certain moments of your sword & sorcery sessions resembled something like Seinfeld or Caddyshack, then Gilded Die of Satanis is for you.
This is a game mechanic that can be tacked-on to pretty much any RPG where you roll to see if stuff happens. Now that I think about it, d20s are irelevant. Just grab a golden d6 and have fun!
