The Gitterrätsel! German-English Expansion Set is an expansion for Gitterrätsel!.
English words and their translations in German letters are hidden forward and backward, horizontally and vertically, and diagonally in a tangle of letters. The object is to find the solution to the puzzle in the grid. This game can be used to help teach children the vocabulary of a subject area and the spelling of foreign words. 20 theme cards are included in the set.
The game play of grid puzzle is also extension of the English once the same: The whole family gathered around the board and goes on a word hunt. By rotating the game board is always a word of the topic map in an open field of the visible edge of the board. The goal is to mark the found words quickly. But beware, if an opponent crosses out a pre-selected word, then is is lost to him.
