Gnomes and Wizards is a battle royal gone tabletop where players assume the role of a tribe of either gnomes or wizards. Players or teams will build up their forces and fight it out over 10 rounds trying to lower enemy hit points, use asymmetric surprise abilities, and survive the onslaught of their opponents and the crumbling earth below.
Throughout the game, players roll a number of dice depending on how many units they have on the field. These dice can be re-rolled and allocated to specific characters to allow more opportunities throughout the turn and future rounds. Players will use brute force and rechargeable abilities to reduce enemy unit life points earning points for the final blow. Half-way through the game, the ground starts to collapse forcing battle to the center of the board where the skirmish concludes in an epic finale.
