The second expansion of Gnomistic adds two new modules, a new main action, new resources, new cards, and many new ways to award points. This expansion also adds more complexity to the game with new layers of strategy and tricky decisions.
During the game, when you take all the cards from a path using the "Contribute to a Path" action, you will also gain resources: Conventina Shell tokens if you take the cards from the riverside path, Ninfa tokens if you take them from the flower's way, and mandrakes if you take the cards from the scary trail. You can use these tokens instead of coins to perform your paid actions, and by doing so, you will improve your nature track on your new player board to award aquamarine stones.
Also, during the game, a "Start of the Rainbow" card will be revealed, and after that, a new main action will become available: buying surprise cards from a new deck of cards. All the surprise cards are amazingly powerful and will give you a significant advantage, so all players will also need to buy these cards to stay in the competition.
