God Eater (originally Gods Eater) has players play as a young, previously unemployed, warrior who has decided to go up against powerful creatures called "Aragami" (Bewilderd God/Fallen God). Warriors who face these beasts are called "God Eaters". The story revolves around the six main members of the Far-East branch of an anti-aragami organization called Fenrir. The player will lead the veteran and rookie members named Lindow, Soma, Sakuya, Kota, and Alisa. While assignments will come from Tsubaki, an instructor and Lindow's sister.
Gods Eater Burst is an enhanced re-release that expanded the story and introduced new game mechanics.
