Description

This game is intended to introduce players to the rules of golf. The box contains:

a board representing a nine-hole course;
4 counters;
5 special dice;
3 decks of cards
score sheets.

The counters represent each competitor's ball. They will be placed at the point where the ball falls. Three dice are used to move the ball on the fairway. They indicate a distance on each side. The white die is used for long distances, the yellow for medium distances, and the red for the approach shot. These dice must be rolled with the position die. This indicates what type of terrain the ball lands on: rough, bunker, fairway or green. The green die is used for putting; it is only used on the green, and gives the number of strokes to play to roll the ball into the hole. The cards allow the player to get out of bunkers or rough. Points are scored as in real golf.
