Description
Granat (=garnet) is played on a 9 x 7.5 grid board and both players have an army of 14 pieces and 2 "Granat"-balls. Each wooden playing piece has a crater-shaped top, which enables to hold one of the metallic granat balls.
Object of the game is to capture all opposing pieces. Normal pieces can move 1 grid, but pieces holding a granat ball can move as far as they want. The granat ball can easily be displaced in your half of the board, but on the opposing half, you can only move it to an adjacent piece.
