Description

Goal
Find out who is the best Formula 1 driver. Complete the most laps in the agreed time. You can also agree on a fixed number of race laps in advance. The first driver to complete all laps wins the game.

How do you play the game?
To determine who can start from pole position, each player rolls the dice. The one with the highest throw starts from pole position. The second highest roll starts from position 2, etc. The race starts when the player in pole position rolls the dice. You can move forward, diagonally or sideways. However, you cannot jump over another car. If you cannot pass another car, you lose your moves on your turn.

Special symbols on the board:

If you end up on this symbol you can take a card. Read the card out loud and take the action immediately.
Road narrowing; If you come to a narrowing of the road you may not use this space. If another player blocks the passage, you lose your remaining moves on your turn.

Ways to Play
You can play the game in several ways:

You choose in advance a time period in which you race. The player with the most rounds after that time wins the game.
You choose a number of rounds in advance that you will complete. The player who completes all the rounds first wins.

Rounds are recorded on paper.

Optional rule
If you complete a turn and are 5 spaces behind another car (not sideways/diagonally) you will end up in the slipstream. This allows you to move forward another 4 places.

Tips!
There is a 'racing line' - so the inside of the corners are often shorter in spaces, allowing you to gain speed! It is possible to block the shortest route, forcing other drivers to overtake outside! Watch out for the chicane as the track narrows to 1 square wide and cars can get blocked here. If it is blocked, you lose your remaining moves and you can only pass when there the space is free.
