Grandia 2 is a Japanese RPG in the Grandia series, developed by GameArts but published in the West by Ubisoft.
Although it is a sequel, the characters & world are not tied to the original game. However they do share common themes of exploration, oppression and dealing with the legacy of ancient civilizations.
Originally released for the Dreamcast, it was later ported to the Playstation 2 & PC. The Dreamcast release is widely regarded as the best of the three.
