Description
In the 1860's the McLoughlin Brothers introduced a successful series of educational card games under the name "Grandmama's XXX Game." The first series included card games on Arithmetic, Geography, Riddles. and Useful Knowledge.
One player was designated the "preceptor" and the other players were "scholars." The preceptor would ask questions and go around the players until someone got the question right. Most right answers wins.
"Grandmama's Old Testament Questions & Answers" card game had 100 question cards, an instruction sheet, and an answer booklet which were packaged in a paper covered cardboard box.
