Granfondo is a board game for 2-4 players. You control a team of 3 cyclists, who each specialize in mountain, sprint and long distance respectively. The player who achieves the most points with his team wins.
The different characters with their respective special abilities are distributed randomly and bring variety to the game.
The cyclists’ speed is controlled using an individual deck of cards. Make sure your team works well together and increase your performance! This gives you a higher hand limit and therefore more choice
In order to drive as effectively as possible, you use tactical elements such as Sprint, fighting for position, Slipstream, and last but not least the Belgian roundabout, a special form of slipstreaming.
Different terrains such as strenuous mountains, steep descents, and grueling cobblestones require different strategies.
And what would a bike racing game be without doping? Doping can give you an important advantage. But under no circumstances should you get caught in the doping control at the end of the game.
Granfondo is a game with a lot of interaction, teamwork, tactics and a bit of luck.
