Graveyards and ancient barrows throughout Hârn are the home and feeding grounds of the hideous Hârnic grave-wight, a humanoid of prodigious strength and animal cunning that feeds on the decomposing flesh and moldering bones of human dead. These nightmarish creatures, while very rare, are the subject of many a terrifying tale told in the flickering light of a warm hearth or between sleepless sentries by moonlight.
