Graveyard of Bones (Day)

This burial site has long since been abandoned, covered in bones and foul moss, even the trees weep as their gnarled bark forms abstract faces, filled with horror and malice.

A stone bridge leads over to a central platform where in the center, above the many mausoleums stands a large monolith, names of long dead soldiers engraved deeply into the stone.

The crumbling stairs curve as they reach down towards the ground below, giving access to the many mausoleums filled with long dead bodies, riches or perhaps both. Puddles of fetid water lie silent if not for the occasional abomination that shuffles throughout the grounds searching for it’s next meal.
