Description

From publisher blurb:

The Grendel are a highly diverse race of Half-Trolls from the world of Voarcel. Why would you ever want to be a Half-Troll? Who in their right mind would ever want to be involved in making a Half-Troll?! First, don't Kinkshame, second, the Trolls of Voarcel are not quite the unpleasant cannibalistic monstrosities in other settings. Sticking to the edges of civilisation, these peaceful folk live in tribal communities spread across the land, trading with the various other mountain & wildland dwellers such as Goliaths, Minotaurs, Firbolg & more. They also have some of the strongest alcohol out there, and the parties they throw are some of the wildest and most memorable on the planet. Whether part of a trade deal, a very enjoyable night's celebration, or part of a long term protection agreement with a traveler looking for somewhere to hide, Grendel are a growing force in the world.

Included in this pdf are many different ‘sub race’ options for the Grendel based on their Non-troll parent. Dragonborn, Aarakocra, Elves and even Halflings, this wide variety of genes and racial traits is down to the Trolls and their ever mutable & adaptable blood. No two Grendel are alike, and each one retains the strongest traits of each parent. No longer do you need to fear Death Saving Throws (Unless Fire or Acid are around), as your hit points slowly recover over time (based on your proficiency modifier). With Long limbs, hardy constitutions and surprising speed, we promise the Grendel will make your next character highly memorable. Of course nothing comes without a price, and you may find most cities and civilised folk reaching for the pitchforks. Thankfully with your natural ability to disguise your form when outside of your inner circle, you should be able to make your way through most of these ‘social interactions’ reasonably stress free.
