The Cursed Bridge is a short expedition optimized for 3rd-level characters, written using the 2024 D&D ruleset. It is set in the Greyhawk campaign setting, but it can be easily adapted to other fantasy worlds, being it essentially a simple hunt-for-villain scenario.
In western Nyrond, between the Celadon Forest and the Gnatmarsh, a small group of human druids and elvish farmers founded the village of Darkmud about two hundred years ago. After centuries of peaceful life, the settlement started being attacked by monsters and mutated plants and animals. The adventurers who were able to get rid of the infestation discovered that a mysterious worshiper of Zuggtmoy was responsible for the troubles, a powerful magical entity who fled eastwards after completing the disgusting rituals which corrupted Darkmud’s flora and fauna. Such villain shall now be found and defeated in order not to have the same fate suffered by Darkmud happen again elsewhere.
