The object of the game is to get your greyhound first over the finish line.
Choose your trap number, choose your stake and on which dog you wish to bet on. Fany bets such as Forecasts or Combinations are allowed (although heaven knows what a 7 year old would make of that).
When you land on the special spaces, most tell you to draw a card and follow the instructions. There are good and bad cards draw. Some cards relate to bonuses, reserve dogs, competitive greyhounds, and sprint racing are all part of the game.
