GUNSHIP PLATOON is a Game where you are a Commander of Platoon of Helicopter Gunships (the Gun Platoon) in a Helicopter Assault Company in Vietnam. Your Goal is to manage your aircraft and Complete a Campaign consisting of a series of Missions and score as many Victory Points (VP) as possible to assist the war efforts. Campaigns can be Short (8 Missions), Moderate (12 Missions), or Long (16 Missions). Combat is based on an innovated Initiative system that allows a single player to manage many units and gives the feeling of lining up a strafing run.
GAME FEATURES: GUNSHIP PLATOON features many colorful game counters of a large variety of Units including UH-1D and UH-B Hueys, OH-6 Cayuse and AH-1 Cobras, US Aero-Rifle Squads, VC and NVA infantry, M-113s, M-48s, T-54s, PT-76s and others.
