From publisher blurb:
HARTHBREAKER: A rules-light 2d6 fantasy RPG system
Welcome to HARTHBREAKER, a tabletop roleplaying game set in the fantasy world of the Dungeon Age published adventures and stories.
HARTHBREAKER is a rules-light 2d6 fantasy RPG. Game content is set in the world of Harth, which leans toward dark fantasy, sword-and-sorcery, the Dying Earth genre, and similar materials.
DESIGN OVERVIEW
HARTHBREAKER is designed to be easy to teach to new players (and young players), and easy to set up a completely new game at a moment’s notice.
New players can create a unique character in just 3-5 minutes.
The Game Runner can use the many (many!) provided tables to quickly generate a one-shot quest, or a far more complex long-term campaign.
The core gameplay mechanic is the Powered by the Apocalypse system of rolling 2d6+Trait to produce one of three results: Total Success, Partial Success, or Failure.
Character creation is skill-based and class-less. (But you can select particular skills to create classic fantasy classes and archetypes.)
