Hauberk is a game that grapples with what it is like to struggle under capitalism, under the hand of a system that feels like it grips our whole selves and our whole worlds. How can we resist such a thing?
This game is also one that grapples with the idea that your job, the thing you must do to survive, will ask you to do things that are heinous and morally compromising. Is survival worth it if we are destroying our environment and innocent people? How can we resist that structure?
