Summary
Heckonomics is a free city building game designed by Abe Jones. The game takes place in Netburbia, a city where players manipulate business and politics in a streamlined environment. The goal is to acquire houses mansions and consume for points while the city is being developed by players. Players can work for, invest in, and manage companies. Players can also politically campaign throughout the city in attempts to manipulate the government for their business purposes.

History
2009: Tabletop game Fiscal Warfare published. Video game version called Market Warfare begins, but is never finished.
2013: Browser video game version of Fiscal Warfare called Netburbia released.
2015: Netburbia abandoned.
2020: Plans to release second edition of tabletop version under the name Market Warfare.
2022: Game renamed to Heckonomics. Development of second edition of video game started in January.
2023: Second edition released in November.
