In "Hegemony, Shadows of Power”, powerful leaders struggle to make their Cause prevail in a re-emerging fantasy world. Manage your power, negotiate, form alliances and bluff to make your way to supremacy.
Players begin the game with different initial powers. In each turn, a Challenge is revealed, and Leaders choose to take part in it or not. Players who dispute the Challenge try to negotiate and convince others to join their alliance. Alliances dispute the prize by betting face-down Power cards and reinforcements; and leaders may bluff with their bets. Once the bets are revealed, the Alliance with the most power is declared the winner and obtains the Challenge's reward (Cause points). Gather 10 or more Cause points to win the match.
