Hailing from the time of King Arthur, Nimue was beloved by the wizard Merlin. After betraying him and slowly going insane, she turned to worshipping the Ogdru Jahad and was subsequently slain by her fellow witches. Later resurrected, she became a formidable adversary of Hellboy.
