Kor pulled his fur cloak tighter around him as he stepped further into the icy chamber. Torchlight reflected off patches of ice and mounds of snow and with each exhale his breath formed trailers of mist that drifted toward the icicle-studded ceiling. The air was still and nothing moved. Then a faint rustling and a crack ice came from his right. Kor drew his sword and turned to face the source of the noise. A mound of ice and snow ten feet away was shifting and flowing into a higher mound. As he watched, the mound began to take the shape of a monstrous reptile.
