Hexagone

Game ID: GID0157715
Collection Status
Description

The aim of the game is to gain as many French regions as possible by answering questions.

The board is comprised of bottom side serving as a wheel indicator, and a top side representing the map of France in the shape of a hexagon.

On each turn, the player turns the HEXAGON board and rolls the dice; the number indicates on the board either a region, a Chance card, or a Question card.

On a "Region" space, the player wins it if he correctly gives his name; he then scores as many points as the number on the dice. He gains additional points if he gives the capital, the departments.

On the "Chance" boxes the player can gain or lose points then play again, can play with the islands (Corsica, DOM) and gain points in the same way as on a "Region" box.

On the "Questions" boxes, the player answers as many questions as there are points achieved by rolling the dice; each correct answer is worth as many points as those of the dice. Certain boxes allow the points obtained to be multiplied by 2. In addition, the possession of all departments of a region earns bonus points, as well as possession of regions of the same color.

The best total wins the game.
