Histopol: Od Piasta do Piłsudskiego

Game ID: GID0159245
Collection Status
Description

As well as being fun, the game also has an educational function. Its task is to familiarize participants with Polish history and the people associated with it. The game board consists of four circles, each corresponding to a different stage in Polish history: the Piast era, the Jagiellonian era, the era of elective kings and the period from the third partition of Poland to the regaining of independence in 1918.

During the game, players move around a circular board with 100 fields. There are 70 special fields closely related to the characters of the era. When a player stands on such a field, they are subject to a penalty or reward associated with that character. In addition, the player must answer the historical questions assigned to that field. A correct answer is rewarded with a prize of coins and an incorrect one with a loss of some.

In addition, players during their turn can buy or sell property that reacts with the penalty and reward cards, decide how to dispose of debt and dispose of their property freely.

When moving from a lower circle to a higher circle, special rules must be met to make this possible. One must have a certain amount of coins or stand on a specific field.

The winner is the player who stands on the field number 100.
