Milltown provides lumber for a large number of local villages and even some distant cities. For some reason, the wood has stopped flowing from Milltown for the first time in years. Bankers, the logging consortium that owns Milltown, and the proctor in a nearby village are worried. They need someone to travel to Milltown find out what happened and get the wood – both log and plank – moving again.
