From the introduction:
Terron is searching for the Eggstone, a legendary artifact that is said to give great power to its wielder. Unfortunately the Eggstone has been shattered and scattered across Cathan. If the PCs are on his trail (that is, following the series of modules) then they have just come from Ethron where Terron's plan to help Lord Tayornan become a blackguard was foiled. Falabour, a paladin of Athena, is now Lord of Ethron, and Terron has headed for Telbar where he believes another segment of the Eggstone is located.
