Recently, a very pesky and masterful thief was captured; perhaps by this very crew of adventurers. The thief, Lotus Payne, has stolen a few precious items from a local noble, and the noble insists that the items be returned to them.
Payne understands the need to secure one’s possessions. He has easily bypassed simple security systems and traps far too many times. So, Payne filled his house with many traps: mechanical, arcane, and alchemical. Anyone entering his home would find it difficult to survive.
The City Watch may ask the adventurers to enter the home to retrieve the nobles stolen belonging. Or, the adventurers may stumble upon the home and think it ripe for the picking.
What no one know is that Payne hides a secret, which is kept secured in the basement.
An adventure for four to five players of level 1-5 with an approximate run-time of 1 to 3-hours.
