From the Publishers Website:
HUNT(er/ed) a a fast paced, narrative heavy game that is played with a standard deck of playing cards and a pair of d6 dice. Alternately, a hook-and-ring game can be used in place of the dice, and rules for playing with both dice and hook-and-ring are included in the game text.
One player will be playing the HUNTER - the pursuer - driven and steadfast in their quest to track and slay their quarry. The other will be playing the MONSTER - the pursued - alienated, feared, and hated by those who have crossed their path, who is determined to survive by any means necessary.
After creating characters, the hunt begins with both players rolling dice, aiming to roll doubles as quickly as possible before the other player does. When someone has rolled doubles, players stop rolling, as the player who rolled doubles advances the token one space closer to the opposing player - and one step closer to finishing their hunt. A prompt is then drawn and the players answer it through roleplay - playing out the events of the hunt, the memories of the characters, and the innermost thoughts of both hunter and hunted.
At the end, either HUNTER or MONSTER will arise victorious and hold the power to end the hunt - and possibly - their adversary’s life.
