BACKGROUND
Many fearsome creatures roam the frigid land of Icewind Dale and the Sea of Moving Ice it neighbors. Even the hardy folk who eke out an existence here struggle at times with more than the elements. When a monstrous threat appears, it is up to the toughest of locals, or brave strangers, to claim the bounty and protect the people.
Enter Aaron Snowstrider, an ambitious young man from Ten-Towns who has been earning a reputation as a hunter and guide alongside his partner. He plans to earn enough gold to buy a ring to propose to her. Snowstrider has lined up four hunts but will need help to accomplish this.
