Description

Idrolandia is a strategic tile placement competitive game in which 1 to 4 players will take on the role of young technicians who will have to build the water network of their municipality.
Starting from a spring positioned in the center of the game board, players will try to build a water network and bring drinking water to the greatest number of homes and public structures, earning efficiency points.
By gradually positioning the tiles on the board, players will be able to both expand their own water network and slow down the construction of their opponents' networks.
However, they will also be able to exploit other players' connections to their advantage to supply drinking water to the furthest homes!
In addition to the connection tiles, the players will have to connect some special buildings to their network, activating them with their workers: these buildings will allow them to have advantages during the game or gain efficiency points at the end of the game. However, they will also always have to pay attention to the maintenance of their network: the pipes can break and will have to be repaired before the end of the match!

Idrolandia was published in 2020 for educational purpose by ERICA Cooperative Society for EGATO6 public authorithy and was distributed free of charge in primary schools to raise awareness among students on public water management, how precious it is and how important it is not to waste it.
