Il gioco del contrabbandiere, the Smuggler's Game.
The protagonists of this game are the "financiers" (finanza) and smugglers (contrabbandiere) who, especially from the 50s to the 70s have marked the history, economy and culture of the Como and Ticino area in Lombardy, Italy and Switzerland.
The Smugglers get 3 pawns, the financier brigadier 3 as well. Movements are from 1 point to another.
The Smugglers win if two of them reach a Warehouse on the Italian side.
The Financiers win by catching two Smugglers.
In this game there are no dice, this gives ample space to strategy. In addition there are "event" cards to make sure that everything can change until the last move.
