There is something rotten in the state Andergast ... at least in a small, remote barony, where a band of robbers hang out, which is making their raids even to the distant capital. So a royal messenger is sent out to investigate the incidents - with your heroes as an escort. After arriving at the edge of civilization, the heroes learn very quickly that things happen that can not be explained with simple, mundane villainy.
