Imigrantes is a worker placement and set collection game that takes place in Brazil, at the end of XIX century, when millions of immigrants coming mostly from Europe and Asia arrived in the country, looking for better opportunities and a wealthier life, but then facing a very different reality.
During the game, you hire immigrants, produce and sell coffee beans and industrial products, earn money and invest it to expand your territories, but never forget to get involved into the politics to get some favors and deal with some eccentric events on Brazilian history. Whoever develop better their domains and collect the best combination of immigrants wins the game.
The game is heavily based on Brazilian history, the % of immigrants is, as much as possible, near to what really happened and all in game events really happened. They were adjusted only to make sense as a game.
