Here are the three winners of the adventure contest "Cthulhu in the Middle Ages" of 2010.
"Something Wicked" by Stefan Droste is about the events at Castle Macbeth in the Scottish Highlands, which were later distorted by a not entirely unknown English bards to be represented as a play. It takes place in 1040.
"Die Augen von Rethra" by Caillean Kompe leads a group of Christian characters lloking for a wife deep into the lands of the heathen Elbe and Baltic Slavs. Encounters with Slavic mythology are included. Whether they find the desired bride is ultimately in the eye of the beholder. The adventure takes place in the 1067.
"Der Täufer" by Benjamin Lutz and Moritz Röder is about intrigue at the time of the great Western Schism, when there were at the same time not just two, but three competing popes. Is not at all clear what God's representatives on earth they are. The adventure takes place in Pisa and Venice in 1415.
