In The Groove is a dancing rhythm game using a dance pad where the player must step on (or avoid) specific four-directional arrows as a song plays. Higher accuracy leads to higher points and allows the player to complete the song. There are over 70 songs from different dance genres including R&B, Euro Pop, Happy Hardcore, Nerdcore, Trance, and others. Each song has multiple difficulty levels ranging from fairly easy to truly insane. The game includes Dance, Fitness, Battle, Marathon, and Practice modes.
