Description

Indoor Tennis is an interesting mix of darts and the game of tennis. Produced in Australia during the War years, the game sees two players standing either end of a miniature tennis court holding bomb shaped darts ready to throw towards each other.

The court is similar to traditional tennis courts with each side having 3 sections, with a larger "Center Court" and two smaller "Left and Right Service boxes", close to the net.

A player (the server) throws their bomb shaped dart into the others court. If successful the other player (receiver) returns a dart. If the receivers dart lands in the opponents same boxed area they win the point. I.e. Server throws dart into Left Service box of receiver. Receiver then successfully throws their dart into left service box of Server. If the receiver is unsuccessful the point goes to the server.

The game follows the scoring of traditional tennis i.e 15:30, deuce and faults. Play is stopped after an agreed time with the winner winning the most games.
